Many Enneagram type books I've read briefly mentioned in the beginning of the book that you are all nine Enneagram types but would then go on to explain how you're only one. It seems most people using the Enneagram types take the approach that you are one type. Although, some of the additional concepts look at people in terms of two types (e.g., wings) or three types (e.g., Tritype) or perhaps even more.
I expressed my thoughts in a blog post.
What do you think? Are we a single type, a combination of two or more types, or all nine types?
